Riven York paving is a handmade reconstituted stone product ideal for patios and garden paths. Replicates original Yorkstone, traditionally quarried in Yorkshire, England, since medieval times. Within our own design studio, using original stone masters, we have been successful in creating a large range of replica mouldings. The surface has a granular texture, and the tooled edges define the authenticity of this beautiful paving.
Choose up to nine sizes and four colours (Bath Yellow, Dark Green, and Grey). The Riven York circular stone features range matches the paving and is available up to a diameter of 4.95 metres (16’6”).
A note on the colours:
Bath Yellow is a warm shade of yellow, similar to bath stone using the yellow sand quarried in the Cotswolds. Dark Green is a traditional Grey/Green shade. Grey is a light Grey. Cream is an off White.
Circles- you may consider incorporating the York circles into the patio design, or use the segments to create steps.
Border edging- use natural stone setts to add a border to the patio, or incorporate within the paved area by replacing a paving slab with the stone setts. The sandstone setts compliment the paving, but if you are looking for a contrast then use the limestone or granite setts.
