Plum Slate 40mm Decorative Aggregates are quarried in Wales and is a popular mulch for borders and pathways. The size of the slate mulch is typically 20 to 40mm with a thickness of approximately 5mm. Given this is a naturally quarried product the actual colour of individual pieces do vary between hues of blue, grey and plum. However, the natural variances of shades are what makes this product so popular with garden designers.

Coverage
- You will need approximately 2 handy pre-packs to cover 1 sqm when spread out to a depth of 25mm, or 4 handy pre-packs to cover 1 sqm at a spread depth of 50mm.
- A bulk bag will cover approximately 22 sqm when spread out to a depth of 25mm. If you are looking for a good spread depth, then it is usual to go up to a depth of 50mm, in which case the coverage will be approximately 11 sqm.
