The Victorian Rope edging corner post is used to either help go round a border corner or to complete the run of edging. Simple traditional design, sometimes called corner dolly pegs.
Available in two colours to match the edging, Terracotta and Black.
Front door pathway edging– use our Victorian rope edging along each side of your front door pathway of Victorian tiles 120mm and 150mm squares mixing the traditional Black and Terracotta so popular in the Victorian times.
Formal herb garden– create a formal herb garden and use the Victorian rope edging along with the corner posts to complete the project.
Flower bed border– decorative edging can be used as a border to help keep the flower beds nice and tidy, or as edging along a winding garden path. It is possible to avoid using mortar where the ground is firm and by pushing the edging into the ground along the border edge. However, we would always recommend fixing with a bed of mortar.
The necessity of path edging
Some paths look best when the edge is hidden from view, like a meandering natural path made of bark, but all paths benefit from an edging. Good decorative edging clearly shows the pattern or design and is not hidden from view.
